Kendriya Vidyalaya AFS-BKT The KVS has structured the school activities in such a manner  as to ensure an all-round development of the students instead of confining to mental  development through lessons in the class room. Adequate opportunities are provided to the  students to take part in games and a variety of other co-curricular activities. This helps the  students to develop a healthy spirit of sportsmanship and companionship, 

which will  enable  them face the life with confidence. This will also help them develop physically,  aestheticall y and morally.
Kendriya Vidyalayas have taken up some new initiatives in order not only to provide opportunities to their students to learn new games & sports, arts and crafts but also to provide employment opportunities to thousands of Sportsmen, Artists and Craftsmen who have been running from pillar to post in search of secure jobs. For this, the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has devised the scheme of engaging outside sportsmen, Artists and Craftsmen for imparting coaching in games & sports, arts and crafts to students.

Kendriya Vidyalaya have four-fold mission:- 1. Catering to educational needs of children of Transferable Central Government Employees including Defence and Para-military personnel by providing a common programme of education. 2. Pursuing excellence and setting the pace in the field of school education. 3. Initiating and promoting experimentation and innovation in education in collaboration with other bodies like CBSE and NCERT. 4 Developing the spirit of national integration and creating a sense of "Indianness among the children".
